On this 5-day walking tour, you’ll visit many renowned landmarks including Wilpena Pound, the Heysen Trail, Brachina Gorge and Alligator Gorge. From the air, Wilpena Pound looks like a crater, an enormous bowl almost 100 kilometres (62 miles) wide that towers above the surrounding plains. A geological marvel that has remained in place since long before the dawn of mankind. During this tour you will also trek a section of the Heysen Trail which stretches over 1,200km in its entirety between Parachilna Gorge and Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
