    Reputed as the 'Paris of the East', Shanghai has undergone a huge transformation from a backwater fishing village to major commercial centre. Vertiginous and teeming, Shanghai has a lot of stories to tell. Your Shanghai stories unfold while you walk along some of the best Shanghai attractions including the graceful colonial buildings along the Bund, towering skyscrapers of Pudong, stylish Xin Tian Di and classic Yu Garden. Then venture off the beaten tracks to explore hidden alleys, bazzar markets and a secret propaganda post museum. You'll sky walk atop the Shanghai World Financial Centre (over 400 metre high) to catch a panoramic view of the Shanghai's old and new. Cuise along Pujiang River to admire the grace of the Bund and the impressive modern skylines of Pudong.

    Away from the most cosmopolitan city in China, you'll experience the picturesque old water town Tongli on a river boat ride. You'll journey into the UNESCO World Heritage Site including climbing up the famous Huangshan for spectacular natural scenery and walk in the 800-year-old villages preserved with traditional Southern Hui-style architecture kept intact along its winding waterways as well as some of the settings for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

    The tour also provides you with rare opportunities to engage the Chinese culture and locals. Practice Tai Chi with a master at a traditional Chinese courtyard residence and watch Suzhou Pingtan (a regional musical/oral performance art form) while enjoy Chinese fine dinning.
