Access is via a 30 minute helicopter journey from Townsville, or 90 minute helicopter flight from Cairns. Easily accessible from Townsville Airport, enjoy a 30 minute helicopter transfer over the picturesque coral-studded sea to Orpheus! Back on the mainland the southern Tasmania highlights continue with visits to the Tahune Airwalk and Hastings Cave, the largest dolomite cave in the southern hemisphere. As you head even further south you'll stop for a walk in the Hartz Mountains National Park before heading for the most southern point in Australia, Cockle Creek, from where you can set out to South Cape Bay - the final section of the famous South Coast Track.

    The tour is fully vehicle supported so you can cycle and walk as much as you like. You only need to carry a day pack.

    Accommodation is included each night. All meals are included for the duration of the walk and cycle tour as well as transfers to and from Hobart. Small groups of 12 walkers are hosted by two guides. All guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable.

Bruny Island Neck is an isthmus of land connecting north and south Bruny Island in southern Tasmania and offers stunning 360 degree views and is an important habitat for native wildlife.

    Accommodation each night is included at a secluded luxury camp, on a private 100 acres on the edge of the South Bruny National Park, this little haven represents the perfect place to retreat. Dolphins are regularly seen playing in the waves, and whales cruise the ocean alongside the track from June to December. Kangaroos and emus are not uncommon, and the impressive Southern Heath Monitor lizard is occasionally seen (or heard) rummaging in the bushes.

    This is fully supported walk and you only need to carry a day pack. Return transfer to/from Perth is included.
