April to October for the best weather to enjoy cycling. Piedmont has a climate that changes significantly with the seasons, impacting the best times for outdoor activities. Summer temperatures are warm, typically reaching the high 20s or low 30s Celsius. This heat is ideal for morning activities, with warmer afternoons. Autumn and spring provide the best conditions for cycling, with mild temperatures ranging from the mid-teens to low 20s. This cooler weather is suitable for cycling in the Langhe hills. Winter is colder, with temperatures often dropping near freezing, which brings frost to the vineyards. While some cyclists still ride, it is generally a time for indoor activities.
