Your adventure begins in Kyoto, from where you’ll head to walk the popular and beautiful trail from Magome to Tsumago. Marvel at the wonders of the trail before heading to relax in the hot springs of your lovely accommodation. Stroll through the picturesque landscape of Nojiri and pause to capture a captivating view of nature's beauty in Nagiso. Proceed to Kiso-Fukushima by train and three fascinating sights—the Yakamura Residence, the KoZenji temple, and Fukushima Sekisho-Ato. Continue to Narai and peruse some of the many restaurants and shops for delightful meals and souvenirs. Catch a train to Nagano and explore the Zenko-ji temple, a national treasure. Bathe in hot springs with wild monkeys in Jigokudani “Hell’s Valley”. Explore Shibu Onsen, a 1300-year-old hot spring town. Head to Obuse and then take a train to either Tokyo or Nagano to end your adventure.

Luggage Forwarding
Baggage handling is not included in the tour cost, but Japan has a fabulous luggage forwarding service which you can use to send your luggage to your next destination. It will take between 24 and 72 hours to get the luggage to the next point so we recommend preparing an overnight bag when using this service. Luggage can be sent between any two points in Japan and the bell desks or receptions at your hotel will be happy to assist you with arranging this luggage transfer. We can assist you to arrange luggage transfers. The 3 day luggage transfer cost is approx. 4500 - 9000 yen (AUD 60 - 115) depending on the size and the weight of the luggage.
