This four day walking experience takes you to the edge of the world - The Three Capes Track Lodge to Lodge Walk is a fully guided walk along Tasmania's dramatic Tasman Peninsula with the wild Southern Ocean as your constant. Start your memorable journey with a boat voyage and some of the highest dolerite cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere will come into view. You'll then cover 46 kilometres of natural landscape with exhilarating cliff top outlooks on Cape Pillar, Cape Hauy and stunning views to Cape Raoul. Settle in each evening in the architecturally designed private lodges discreetly placed along the trail and enjoy Tasmania food and wine.

This moderate graded walk traverses varied terrain through natural landscapes including ancient cliffs, fragrant forest, colourful heathlands, white sanded beach, and bronzed moorlands. Cruising from Port Arthur to set off your journey, you'll have opportunities to spot whales, dolphins or fur seals while enjoying the fresh salty air. Walk side by side up mosaic stone steps taking in exhilarating clifftop outlooks on Cape Pillar, and Cape Hauy. Revel in the fragrant eucalypt forests and stop at crystal clear waters of Crescent Bay for a dip. Throughout the hike, you will experience some challenging uphill and downhill sections and traverse some rocky terrain, including climbing Arthurs Peak (300m) and Mount Fortescue (490m) and the challenge of scaling The Blade at Cape Pillar.

You will have exclusive use of the only private Lodge accommodation along the track. The two lodges are architecturally designed to sit lightly within the environment with stunning views. You begin your journey in Darwin, here you will be transferred to the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre before making your way to Mamukala Wetlands in Kakadu for a short walk among the refuge for numerous wetland birds. Take in the sights of the famous Ubirr rock art site, cruise up East Alligator River and take a walking tour of remote restricted rock art sites around Arnhem land with an Aboriginal guide. Visit Nourlangie rock art site and walk the 12km Barrk Walk around the escarpment. Walk to Yurmikmik lookout and head to Gunlom Falls for a well deserved cool off in the crystal-clear waters. Discover the incredible swimming holes of the Edith Falls Area in Nitmiluk National Park on a section of the Jatbula trail and hike to Butterfly Gorge before a cruise down the impressive Katherine River, finishing the tour off with a choice of walking trails in Litchfield National Park before returning to Darwin.

We will be staying at a variety of different accommodations on our Kakadu, Nitmiluk and Litchfield walking tour. In Kakadu we will be staying at Anbinik Kakadu Resort for 3 nights. At Anbinik we spread across the 6-pack blocks which have a central kitchen and communal area for everyone to come together. Bathrooms are share between multiple rooms. Anbinik most importantly also boasts a swimming pool where you can go for a swim after a day on the trail. In Pine creek we will stay at the Pinecreek railway resort. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate for one night, and each room has ensuite bathrooms. A pool is also available. Around Nitmiluk we will be staying in 2-bedroom apartments at St Andrews Serviced Apartments, Katherine. We will come together in one of the apartments for our meals and nibbles. Accommodation is allocated on a double or twin share basis. If you are a solo traveller we will room you with another solo traveller of the same sex. The walk is fully supported and catered. You only carry a daypack. Walking distances range from 3km to 12km per day. A moderate level of fitness should be able to complete the walk.

You hike the famous Kepler Track admiring stunning lake vistas. The track winds past the alpine grassland of the Jackson Peaks, mountains, native forest, glacier-carved valleys and waterfalls. Plenty of native birds can be spotted as you wind through mossy beech forests. You will also hike the Milford Track, described as "the Finest Walk in the World" - a must when visiting the region. Walk through ancient temperate rainforest surrounded by an array of ferns, mosses and lichens in vibrant shades of green leads to Giant Gate Waterfall. The Routeburn Track offers spectacular alpine views and flowers. On Day 4, you will board your Milford Sound Overnight Cruise and enjoy the ultimate Milford Sound experience.
