Walk one of the best sections of the Bibbulmun Track from Walpole to Denmark on an exciting 8 day guided hiking tour. Enjoy what is considered the most scenic and varied section of the track amid moderate to challenging terrain through forests, remote beaches, and incredible coastal cliffs.
You begin your journey in Perth, here you will be driven to Walpole before taking a short walk to stretch your legs and settling into your accommodation. Ascend to Hilltop Lookout and visit the Giant Tingle Tree amid the forest landscape. Head towards the coast and enjoy Conspicuous beach and Peaceful Bay, where it is possible to have a well-deserved dip in the waters. Hike amid vegetation dunes, enchanting peppermint woodlands and canoe across Irwin Inlet. Walk among the clifftops and along Mazzoletti Beach to William Bay where you will have time to explore the Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks. Ascend to tower Hill and Mt Hallowell both featuring impressive boulder formations and spectacular views. On your final day, complete your walk before being transferred back to Perth.
During your walking tour, you will be spending four nights at the comfortable and cosy Bayside Villas in Walpole in a combination of 2- and 3-bedroom villas with shared bathrooms, just a short walk from the centre of Walpole. On your final three nights you will be staying at William Bay Cottages, among the well-appointed 2- and 3-bedroom chalets. Some bathrooms have en suite bathrooms, though not all. You will be spread out over a number of cottages as required, coming to together for meals in the main house.
The walk is fully supported and catered. You only need to carry a daypack. Walking distances range from 18km to 21km per day. A moderate level of fitness should be able to complete the walk. Excellent food, comfortable accommodation and knowledgeable guides will complement your trip.

Departing from Launceston, the easy to moderate grade walk begins at the Bay of Fires on the northernmost section of Mount William National Park. From its long beaches to teeming wildlife, unique history and abundant flora, Mt William National Park is a place of constant fascination. From here you'll explore iconic sights such as Boulder Point, Cobbler Rocks, Cod Bay, the pink granite lighthouse at Eddystone Point, and beautiful Anson's Bay across sand and headlands encountering some rocky trails. Throughout the tour you'll admire the rich variety of bird life, with nearly 100 species occurring in the area. This remarkable region is also famed for its spectacular native wildflowers.
The walk is fully guided and supported. On day 1, we will give you a backpack (40lt day pack). You need to carry your personal belongings including toiletries and change of clothes, water and food for the day, including lunch and snacks. Approximately 7-10kgs in a backpack.

This four day walking experience takes you to the edge of the world - The Three Capes Track Lodge to Lodge Walk is a fully guided walk along Tasmania's dramatic Tasman Peninsula with the wild Southern Ocean as your constant. Start your memorable journey with a boat voyage and some of the highest dolerite cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere will come into view. You'll then cover 46 kilometres of natural landscape with exhilarating cliff top outlooks on Cape Pillar, Cape Hauy and stunning views to Cape Raoul. Settle in each evening in the architecturally designed private lodges discreetly placed along the trail and enjoy Tasmania food and wine.
This moderate graded walk traverses varied terrain through natural landscapes including ancient cliffs, fragrant forest, colourful heathlands, white sanded beach, and bronzed moorlands. Cruising from Port Arthur to set off your journey, you'll have opportunities to spot whales, dolphins or fur seals while enjoying the fresh salty air. Walk side by side up mosaic stone steps taking in exhilarating clifftop outlooks on Cape Pillar, and Cape Hauy. Revel in the fragrant eucalypt forests and stop at crystal clear waters of Crescent Bay for a dip. Throughout the hike, you will experience some challenging uphill and downhill sections and traverse some rocky terrain, including climbing Arthurs Peak (300m) and Mount Fortescue (490m) and the challenge of scaling The Blade at Cape Pillar.
You will have exclusive use of the only private Lodge accommodation along the track. The two lodges are architecturally designed to sit lightly within the environment with stunning views. The Lodges do not forego creature comforts such as hot showers, with plenty of lounge areas and a dedicated relaxation area at Munro Lodge. There is also a Relaxation Pavilion at Cape Pillar Lodge offering Li'Tya treatments, for a little rejuvenation & healing!
All meals are included for the duration of the walk as well as transfers to and from Hobart. Small groups of 14 walkers are hosted by two staff. All staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable. You need to carry a multiday pack for the walk.

On the final night, guests of the Maria Island Walk stay in a heritage house in Darlington, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled on the northern tip of the island. Add A Guide
You can choose to have a local guide for your first day. The local guide will explain this significant historical area as well as provide detailed information on the trail and general track advice. You are then well equipped to continue on your way for the remainder of your self-guided walk. Additional cost: $250 per person.
Orientation
The local staff will give you an orientation of the tour when you arrive at Kii-Tanabe station. The staff will supply you with maps, bus timetables and brief you on your itinerary. The staff will explain cultural elements such as how to use a bath and purchase bus tickets if need be as well as answer any last minute questions.
Dual Pilgrim
This walk is qualified for "Dual Pilgrim". We provide official Dual Pilgrim Credential - a type of passport for pilgrims. It is used to collect stamps along the trail as a record of the walk. There are two sides, one for the Kumano Kodo and one for the Way of St. James.Please read the details in the section of Dual Pilgrim at the bottom of this page.
