Upon arrival at Cape Naturaliste, you will meet your guide to begin your exhilarating first day of hiking along the track. Before setting out, please ensure your water bottles are filled, and your pack is ready for the hike.
After the invigorating hike, there will be an opportunity for a quick swim at Yallingup Lagoon, followed by a delightful dinner at the historic Caves House. To make the most of the experience, kindly bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes in your day pack if needed.
Walking distance: 17km (Moderate Grade).
Embarking from Yallingup, your journey will take you over the impressive granite headland at Torpedo Rock, leading you to the renowned Smith's Beach. As you continue, you'll notice a rapid change in the landscape, with giant granite marbles dominating the area near Canal Rocks. Traverse high over the ridge, passing by Rotary Lookout, before descending back to the picturesque beach at Injidup.
Once again, ascend over the ridge, meandering through the coastal tee tree, and reconnect with the untamed southwest-facing coast. Weave your way through stunning limestone cliffs and granite formations, then immerse yourself in the captivating stunted vegetation and granite fields of Moses Rock.
Today offers fantastic swimming opportunities, so don't forget to pack your swimsuit! For dinner, savor a delicious and freshly prepared meal from our catering team, the Cape to Cape Moveable Feast.
Walking distance: 13 km (Moderate Grade).
Today's trail ascends steeply over several large limestone headlands before leveling out on the scenic Wilyabrup Beach. A beautifully constructed staircase then leads walkers up onto the stunning sea cliffs, famously known as the climbing buttresses of Wilyabrup Cliffs. After passing these impressive cliffs, the path descends back to the beach, passing by the renowned but challenging surfing breaks of Gallows and Guillotines. The coastline then takes on a decidedly rocky character as it weaves its way through picturesque granite boulders, ultimately leading to the charming hamlet of Gracetown.
At the end of the day's hike, there is a wonderful opportunity for a revitalising swim, so be sure to pack your swimsuit in your day pack.
Following the day's walk, be treated to a personalised wine tour and a delightful cheese platter at a boutique winery in the Margaret River Region. For dinner, you can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared meal from our catering team, the Cape to Cape Moveable Feast.
Walking distance: 20km (Moderate Grade).
Commencing at the idyllic hamlet of Gracetown, your journey will lead you along the serene low coastline towards the historic settlement of Ellensbrook. From there, the track swiftly veers away from the coast, meandering through sand dunes and past the captivating Ellensbrook homestead and Meekadarabee Falls. You'll have the opportunity to explore the secluded coves of Gnoocardup and the turquoise bay of Kilcarnup. Don't miss the chance to marvel at the centuries-old osprey nest in Horseshoe Bay, followed by taking in some of the world's finest surfing coastline at Prevelly.
At the end of the day, you may enjoy a revitalising swim, so don't forget to pack your swimsuit in your day pack.
Tonight is yours to unwind and savour some free time. You can head out to a local restaurant of your choice at your own expense, either individually or with the rest of the group if you prefer. For a convenient option, we recommend The Common bistro, located just a short stroll away.

Starting from the limestone ridge at Prevelly, your path will lead you down into the sheltered creek line of Boodjidup Brook. Continue onward to savour the experience of walking on the white sands of Boodjidup before arriving at the historic Redgate Beach. One of the most exceptional sections of the Cape to Cape Track awaits: the scenic coastal cliffs at Bob's Hollow and Contos (though we may be a little biased as CCET has adopted and maintains this section). Venture further into the majestic Karri forest, where you'll encounter the world's third tallest hardwood trees. While it may be a longer day, the sturdy track underfoot and the cooling afternoon shade of the karri forest will make the journey seem effortless.
For dinner, relish on a delicious and freshly prepared meal from our catering team, the Cape to Cape Moveable Feast.
Walking distance: 20.5 km (Moderate Grade).
Commence your journey amidst the towering karris of Boranup Forest, where a diverse array of wildlife and wildflowers awaits in their respective seasons. Head southward, venturing back into the coastal heath and descending onto the breathtakingly beautiful Boranup Beach. After trekking 7 kilometers along the sandy shore, you'll discover the protected Hamelin Bay, known for hosting some of the Cape's most amiable stingrays, fond of a meal of freshly caught fish!
Continue onward, passing by numerous islands and headlands, navigating through the coastal heath, until you reach the captivating Foul Bay lighthouse. Your journey culminates at the stunning Cosy Corner.
Later in the afternoon, we'll make a stop to appreciate the beauty of the Margaret River. For dinner, indulge in a delightful meal at the nearby local microbrewery, The Brewhouse.
Walking distance: 19 km (Moderate Grade).
The final stretch of the Cape to Cape Track offers a different perspective, facing more towards the south compared to the rest of the coast. This section is a true wilderness with limited road access, ensuring that the sights remain reserved for you and the local hooded plovers. The trail encounters granite headlands interspersed with long stretches of shoe-sucking sand, presenting a formidable challenge. Yet, with every step, you draw nearer to the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, marking the moment of celebration for your accomplishment.
After a refreshing hot shower back at your accommodation, we'll gather at Surfpoint Resort, where we'll share a fantastic slideshow of the incredible journey you've experienced over the last seven days. Following that, you'll enjoy a scrumptious celebration fish barbecue dinner, accompanied by delightful seasonal salads thoughtfully provided by our catering team.
At 8:30 am, our driver will arrive to collect you from Surfpoint Resort. Kindly ensure that your luggage is packed and all catering items are ready for collection.
We will depart for the city, making a delightful stop at the Margaret River Farmer's Market. You will have the opportunity to explore the market after ordering your coffees, and we will depart from the farmers market at 9:30 am.
Between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm, we will arrive in Perth, where you can choose to be dropped off either at the airport or at a central CBD location, depending on your preference.
