Located on the edge of Purnululu National Park, Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge provides convenient access to the famous Bungle Bungle domes, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm.
The best way to access this remote area is to fly from East Kimberley (Kununurra) Regional Airport (KNX). The flight time is approximately one hour in an Aviair fixed wing aircraft.
If you would prefer to drive, a 4WD vehicle is essential. The drive from Kununurra is over 300 kilometres (187 miles) and takes approximately four and a half hours (though road and weather conditions can blow out this time frame).
Get a good night’s rest in a luxury tented cabin. Each cabin features a twin or king bed, ensuite bathroom with hot water and a private deck – the perfect place for observing the local bird life.
Dining facilities at the lodge feature open-air dining, offering you the opportunity to eat and drink as you observe the beautiful bush surrounds. Three course dinners are served each night with regional specialities including crispy skin Cone Bay Barramundi, beef, lamb and pork.
