Rise with the sun! A 6:30am pick up from Darwin is when you begin your journey into the outback and onwards to Corrobboree Billabong. Home to the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world, enjoy an exhilarating boat cruise. A discovery adventure taking you through the rich wildlife, dramatic scenery and ever-changing landscape of the billabong. As you navigate the waters, get up close moments with crocodiles, buffalo and other local wildlife on the floodplains. You will also see a plethora of birds – about one third of Australia’s bird species are represented in Kakadu, with at least 60 species found in the wetlands.
As the afternoon sun begins its golden descent, we invite you to wander through the galleries of Ubirr. Here, the sacred rock art of the First Nations people whispers stories of an eternal culture. We ascend the rugged escarpment to be met by a breathtaking panoramic tapestry—the infinite horizons of Arnhem Land and the shimmering Nardob Floodplains unfolding beneath you in a display of nature’s untamed grandeur.
As twilight falls, retreat to the refined seclusion of our exclusive camp at Mardukul Billabong, cradled deep within the heart of the park for an evening of unparalleled tranquility under the stars.
Awake to the tranquility of a desert oasis before delving deeper into Kakadu’s renowned waterfalls reflecting the majesty of this World-Heritage Listed National Park. Its waterfalls capture Kakadu’s dramatic seasonal change. During shoulder months be captivated by the dazzling waterfalls of Maguk and Gunlom Falls while the peak months see’s you marvelling at the towering Jim Jim and Twin Falls. Along the way, walk through monsoon forests, lush vegetation and close up moments with unique wildlife. You’ll find many pristine natural plunge pools to cool off keeping you refreshed all day. Discover a huge array of aquatic life including a large black bream. Spend the afternoon soaking in the sheer beauty of your spectacular surrounds of stunning escarpments and towering cliffs.
With time permitting, journey out to Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole) which requires permits and limited access to others, but unlimited access to Territory Expeditions passengers!

Your final day adventures out to the serene Litchfield National Park, one of Northern Territory’s best kept secrets.
Spend the morning exploring waterfalls, spring-fed streams and rugged sandstone escarpments with a refreshment break at the serene Adelaide River. Discover the intriguing cathedral and magnetic termite mounds before calling into Buley Rockhole for an invigorating swim in its cascading pools. A short journey later, adventure into the spectacular Wangi Falls and Florence Falls cascading into a plunge pool. Here, you’ll will enjoy a hike amongst the rainforest-filled gorge capping off with a refreshing final swim set in a pocket of monsoon forest.
Feeling refreshed and invigorated, journey back to your Darwin accommodation arriving at approximately 5:30pm.

Darwin International Airport (DRW) receives scheduled flights from other destinations in the Northern Territory, Australia and South East Asia.
The Top End experiences distinct dry and wet seasons. Average daily maximum temperatures in the dry season (April to September) range from 29 degrees (Celsius) in July to 38 degrees in September with little rain and low humidity. Overnight, temperatures decrease to become considerably cool by early morning and sunrise. Average daily maximum temperature during the waterfall season (October to March) is 40 degrees with significant humidity. Most of the 500-700mm annual rainfall occurs between December and March resulting in unsealed roads becoming impassable and park closure.

The tour operator is at the mercy of nature in all her beauty and all her fury. The tour operator will under no circumstance knowingly place at risk the health and well-being of our guests and guides. In the case of natural threats, acts of God and the like (e.g. bushfires, impassable snow, etc) the tour operator may need to cancel a walk with very little notice. In some cases, this can occur after the walk has commenced. The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any walk up to 60 days prior to departure if a minimum of 4 walkers are unable to meet for a tour. If the tour operator needs to cancel for any reason, the cost of the walk or any other costs associated with travel to the designated pick up point, overnight accommodation, meals, etc will not be covered by the Onlyluxe Travel and therefore we strongly recommend travel insurance be taken out prior to travel.Force Majeure'Force Majeure' means (without restriction) any event which Onlyluxe Travel or its third party providers could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Force Majeure covers events such as, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events beyond our control. In the case of Force Majeure Onlyluxe Travel will not accept liability, and reserves the right to change and cancel trips.EvacuationsIn rare circumstances, due to injury or unforeseen illness, the tour operator may need to evacuate you from a remote part of the walk. Helicopter evacuations are expensive and in most cases will be at a cost to the customer.For Australian residents, under the Australian Government Medicare Act, it is prohibited for any domestic travel insurance product to provide any financial reimbursement with regard to ambulance or air ambulance services. We therefore strongly advise our customers to take specific ambulance cover through their health insurance provider. Evacuation cost will not be covered by the Onlyluxe Travel and therefore it is also strongly recommended that our customers take out travel insurance to cover (amongst other things) the costs associated with evacuation.Travel InsuranceIn view of the heavy cancellation penalties applied to cancelled reservations in certain circumstances, we strongly recommends suitable travel insurance be purchased at the time the holding deposit is paid. We recommend insurance cover that covers any loss which may be suffered due to cancellation. We also strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance against loss of baggage and medical expenses.
