Villa Talia is located in southern Tasmania’s Huon Valley, just 600-metres from the banks of the Huon River. From the wrap-around verandah there are views to the south of the Hartz Mountains and the southwest wilderness, with the Sleeping Beauty Mountain Range visible. There are several wineries and cheesemakers close by, and the galleries of Cygnet are just 10 minutes’ drive away.
The closest major airport is Hobart Airport, approximately 1-hours’ drive away.

At Villa Talia, there is no shortage of things to do and see. Borrow a kayak or paddleboard and take to the water. Lace up your boots or hop on a bike to explore the trails. Centre yourself with some self-guided yoga on the verandah (there’s mats in the bedroom wardrobe). Try your hand at fishing. Or, take to the sky in a helicopter for the ultimate bird’s eye view.
