Top End Safari Camp is located in the Peninsula Way region, north west of Litchfield National Park. It is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Darwin via the Cox Peninsula and Fogg Bay Roads. Both return coach transfers and self-drive options are available.
At Top End Safari Camp, each Deluxe Lotus Belle Tent is million star rated! With only 10 tents onsite, group sizes are kept small for a very intimate, authentic outback experience. All tents are widely spaced across the property for privacy and comfort, while being only a short walk to the sky deck, fire pit, pool and shared toilet facilities. Each tent is spacious with modern earthy furnishings complete with double bed, outdoor open air shower, private deck, plush towels and locally sourced bathroom amenities.
All meals are freshly prepared with a focus on local produce. Gourmet BBQs are the speciality accompanied by fresh salads and side dishes. Drinks available to purchase at the bar include a selection of white, red and sparkling wine, beer, basic spirits and soft drinks. Those staying overnight will also enjoy a cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs, toast, mushrooms and tomato.
Top End Safari Camp has a large shaded common deck area that all guests can enjoy. Complete with pool, firepit, dining area, bar and more it is the perfect place to come and enjoy a cold beverage while soaking in a Top End sunset over the flood plains. There are shared toilets located just behind the deck area for all guests to use. A secured parking area for guests who have opted to self-drive is also available onsite.
At Top End Safari Camp, it is all about the great outdoors. Zip through a pristine Top End river system aboard a fast-moving air boat. Cruise along a billabong and look out for native birds and wildlife. Get the ultimate bird’s eye view with a scenic helicopter flight. Get up close to wild crocodiles as they feed and hunt. These are just some of the activities and experiences that will stay with you.
