Located in Pureora Forest Park at the halfway mark of the two-day cycling journey along the Timber Trail, the Timber Trail Lodge is accessible by road via Waimiha. The lodge is a 2hour and 15 minute drive from the closest airport, Taupo Airport. Shuttle services are also available from Ongarue.
Purpose built for convenience and comfort, the Timber Trail Lodge has received a 5 star Silver Qualmark rating. There are two-bedroom wings joined by the inviting central area known as the hub. The Hub features floor to ceiling windows, highlighting spectacular views of the surrounding forest with plenty of places to sit and relax including in front of the large fireplace during those colder nights.
