Location

Stewarts Bay Lodge is nestled among nature and history on the Tasman Peninsula. Just a stroll away is Port Arthur Historic Site and the start point of the Three Capes Track. Cape Huay and other coastal and forested walks are also nearby. It is a 1.5-hour car drive from Hobart Airport or Hobart City. The drive is full of majestic scenery with beautiful rolling hills and farmland to enjoy. There are regular flights from the capital cities of Australia to Hobart Airport as well as international flights available.

 

Coastal Views

Enjoy captivating open-forest or sea views in the variety of self-contained accommodation options. Nestled in an amazing coastal reserve overlook the water, the property features 19 standard log cabins and 21 deluxe spa chalets. The Spa chalets offer one or two bedrooms and bathrooms while the log cabins feature tow or three bedrooms. Each cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, DVD and CD player, TV, washing machine, dryer, electric blankets, heating unit or reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Waterfront Dining

The only fully licensed waterfront restaurant is Stewarts Bay Lodge’s ‘On the Bay’ restaurant. Indulge in fresh local seafood complemented by a specially selected Tasmanian wine list. Relax in the comfort of air condition or two log fires for a year-round dining experience. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply a relaxing drink and enjoy the wonder views and ambiance. In summer unwind among the comfortable setting outdoors. Private dining rooms are available.
