The iconic Shoebill Camp, birding haven, and wildlife exploration hub are situated on a small island fenced by a thicket and overlooking the lake on the wetlands of Bangweulu, North Zambia.
Access is by a 50 minutes flight from Mfuwe International Airport to Chimbwe Airstrip followed by a 10-minute drive (Sep-Oct) or 1 hour canoe (May-Aug) to the Shoebill Island Camp.
