On the Berkeley River Cruise, you’ll discover remote swimming holes and awe-inspiring sights such as Casuarina Falls and Conigrave Creek.     This classic Kakadu adventure delivers the quintessential bushwalk experiences. Over six magnificent days, discover Kakadu and Litchfield national parks by foot. Venture among remote picturesque gorges, through lush monsoon forests and past freshwater billabongs teeming with wildlife. Visit the famous Jim Jim and Twin Falls, admire ancient rock art seen by very few visitors, and take the famous Yellow Water sunset cruise to see giant crocodiles, a vast range of resident birdlife and many other native species. Get away from the crowds on this active, walking based itinerary, and walk beyond the main tourist sites and reveal the true magic of Kakadu.

    Kakadu National Park is a World Heritage Area covering some 20,000 square kms. Waterfalls tumble from the red cliffs off the Arnhem Land escarpment into shady pools. Tranquil wetlands teem with animal and bird life, while 40,000 years of Aboriginal cultural heritage is on display in the numerous hidden rock art galleries.

    You'll stay at the semi‐permanent campsites for five nights relaxing in idyllic tropical surrounds. The itinerary varies to make the most of the season, choosing the best walks and waterfalls as the wet season floodwaters recede and access opens up.

    All meals are included for the duration of the walk as well as transfers to and from Darwin. Small groups of 12 walkers are hosted by two professional wilderness guides.
