Discretely located just off the overland track in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, the huts are used exclusively for track walkers in various locations. The closest airport to the walking departure point is Launceston Airport. Launceston Airport regularly supports flights from major Australian Cities. Hobart airport is a domestic and international airport and is a 2 hour and 20 minute drive away from the departure area.

Each hut has been discreetly located off the main trail and offers a hot shower, drying room and twin share accommodation.
Each night, your guides will prepare scrumptious three-course, dinners which can be enjoyed with a selection of Tasmanian wines. In the mornings, wake up to the aroma of hot coffee and tea brewing, freshly baked bread and a selection of cereals and porridge.
The Design of the huts places a great deal of importance on minimal impact track and hut practices and the huts are designed to be ecologically sustainable. Each hut is architecturally designed to maximize cross flow ventilation and operate with maximum efficiency with renewable energy. Maintained to ensure your comfort rain water is chanelled off the roofs into tanks and the huts incorporate self-composting, water-free batching toilets. Gas and solar are the only sources of power, used for lighting, heating and cooking.
