See butchery or fish mongering, jus and stock creation, curing, smoking, gently pressing and marinating with a Cryovac machine or cooking with a thermo regulated water bath. Watch them roll pasta, discuss how they prepare sashimi or simply take a photo to remind just how much you indulged whilst on-board the mighty True North.
As magnificent as True North is, the focus is not on the ship but on the destination. Every day of the cruise is an activity day: you’ll have ample opportunity to disembark, with no extended voyages or lengthy periods at sea. Fish for the legendary Barramundi. Dive and snorkel some of the world’s most pristine waters. Admire the incredible rock art of the first Australians. Learn about local wildlife with a team of specialist guides. The choice is yours!

Six expedition boats are ready to take you and your fellow travellers even further afield and to different activities at the same time. If that’s not enough, an on-board helicopter is on standby to help unlock the destinations’ last secrets. Fish billabongs that have never been fished. See ancient rock art without leaving your seat. Climb mountains and volcanoes in air-conditioned comfort. Glide over impenetrable jungle and swoop on historic and cultural highlights. Take someone special on a sunrise flight or an unforgettable heli-picnic. You will see things you would not normally see, touch what you would not normally touch and feel what you would not normally feel.
Unlike more conventional cruise experiences, the crew of True North are encouraged to interact with guests. This young and passionate group of 22 people will uniquely chaperone your every experience, providing assistance, interpretation and genuine company. They will bait your hook and carry your scuba tank but they will also join you for dinner and entertain in the ship’s lounge. They will also maintain your cabins with a renowned degree of attention and safely navigate the ship, boat and helicopter to each destination.
Catering to a maximum of just 36 guests, an intimate and personalised experience is guaranteed. The crew will do their best to cater for personal preference and specific interests such as birdwatching and photography excursions. Aboard True North, you are more than just a number!
