Maruia River Retreat is set on 500 acres of pure untouched New Zealand. The Retreat is a beautiful two-hour scenic drive from Nelson and three-hours from Christchurch and the International Airport. Luxury vehicles and executive drivers are available for transfers, if required.
Maruia River Retreat features two Master Villas and five Luxe Villas, all with idyllic views of the Maruia River. All seven villas are fully self-contained with brand new Italian kitchenettes, super king beds and luxury linen. The Master Villas feature ensuite bathrooms with spa jacuzzi, bath and twin vanities, while the Luxe Villas feature showers with bath and twin vanities. Other features common to all villas include spacious living room and dining area, air conditioning and heat pump, heated floors and towel racks, lush robes and your choice of pillows from the Pillow Menu.
Food and wine at Maruia River Retreat changes with the season. The gourmet kitchen uses ingredients sourced from the onsite organic kitchen-garden and from the best that the region has to offer. Great emphasis is placed on authentic flavours from the land and delivering fresh, simple and beautiful food.
