Meet up with your tour leaders at 9 am at Hotel Jerome, Colorado. Please, ensure you arrive dressed in your biking clothes and come with a daypack containing your rain gear and anything else you want for today's ride. Also, bring your luggage along (it will be transported to your room)
Bike past Castle Creek Road while taking in the stunning views of snow-capped peaks and thick aspen forests. Take a break in the Ashcroft Ghost Town to enjoy the farm-to-table cuisines of Aspen's contemporary downtown.
Pedal along the car-free Rio Grande Bike Trail as you take in the awe-inspiring panorama. Learn about the ranch and mining history of picturesque communities. Following that, you have the choice of unwinding in the hotel's spa (at own expense) or enjoying the lively nightlife of nearby Aspen.
We’ll be staying at the 5-star Posh Circa-1989 Hotel Jerome where contemporary luxury and historic heritage come together. Book a restorative spa session at the hotel spa, cozy up with a drink by the fireplace or go for a relaxing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the pool.

Traverse Aspen's famed Maroon Bells, two iconic towering peaks, by foot or bike. However, you'll have to go on this trip on your own, but you will be provided all the necessary information you need to explore on your own by your leaders. You can relax on the shore of glistening Maroon Lake. Now, you have the choice of hiking up Colorado's classic Independence Pass or enjoying a relaxing day in town at your leisure. You can shop or have a relaxing massage at the spa.
Go for a spin along the Roaring Fork River. It's time to say farewell, but if you don't want to just yet, you can extend your stay in sophisticated Aspen, where mountain biking, rafting, hiking, and more are available at your fingertip.

Summer in Aspen is typically dry and comfortable, with daytime temperatures hovering in the mid to high 70s. Temperatures do drop at night. In late summer, thunderstorms are common. In general, weather can change quickly in the mountains so come prepared with a rain jacket and ready for drops in temperature at any time

Electric Assist Bike
A lightweight yet powerful machine unique in the world of e-bikes. One of the lightest e-bikes available, it provides plenty of power (and then some!) to flatten the hills and more than enough battery range to cover the distance. Other outstanding features include the same comfort as our Touring Bikes and lower top tubes for easier mounting and dismounting. Available for guests 16 or older; not appropriate for pulling a Trailer Bike or a Cub trailer on a Family Trip. Upright handlebars only. Tandem Bike
Hand-built frame features Co-Motion's custom-designed cro-moly steel tubeset, powerful Avid disc brakes, Shimano Ultegra drive train, and a custom, upgraded wheelset. Suggested for riders with some tandem experience and on trips with flatter terrain. Due to the tandem's size, frequent racking is not realistic, so there may be fewer opportunities to hop in the van. Helicopter evacuations are expensive and in most cases will be at a cost to the customer.For Australian residents, under the Australian Government Medicare Act, it is prohibited for any domestic travel insurance product to provide any financial reimbursement with regard to ambulance or air ambulance services. We therefore strongly advise our customers to take specific ambulance cover through their health insurance provider. Evacuation cost will not be covered by the Onlyluxe Travel and therefore it is also strongly recommended that our customers take out travel insurance to cover (amongst other things) the costs associated with evacuation.Travel InsuranceIn view of the heavy cancellation penalties applied to cancelled reservations in certain circumstances, we strongly recommends suitable travel insurance be purchased at the time the holding deposit is paid. We recommend insurance cover that covers any loss which may be suffered due to cancellation. We also strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance against loss of baggage and medical expenses.
