Located 340 kilometres north of Cairns and 27 kilometres off the coast of North Queensland, Cairns is the nearest domestic and international airport. Cairns airport features regular flights from all Australian capital cities whilst Queensland Rails facilities tow Tilt trains and three Sunlanders departing from Brisbane to Cairns.
