Kooljaman is owned and operated by the local Indigenous Bardi Jawi Communities, whose history dates back some 40,000 years when the sacred song lines and places of the Dreaming and connection to country were the constant tribal lore. Today, the Bardi Jawi Owners are committed to protecting and sustaining the land and sharing their knowledge and stories with their guests. You are invited to take a guided tour with a member of the community or experience a sense of peace and oneness while sitting quietly on the beach.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Cape Leveque, the red cliffs, white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Swim and snorkel in some of the cleanest waters on Earth. Try your hand at traditional fishing or crabbing, with the chance to catch and eat snapper, Spanish flag, coral trout, mangrove Jack and more.
