Awake early in the morning for a full day boat trip in legendary Komodo National Park.
The park was founded in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon, the world's largest lizard, and also became a protected marine habitat for other species as part of the Coral Triangle, containing some of the richest marine biodiversity on earth. Komodo National Park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site -and rightfully so. Truly, there is nowhere in the world quite like it.
This speedboat excursion allows one to maximize the use of time in Komodo National Park, visiting many points of interest and viewpoints within the park in the relatively short amount of time.
Board a private local boat and depart to Padar Island for another 2 - 3 hours easy to moderate trek. After a short trek, witness one of the area's most spectacular panoramic viewpoints from atop one of the island’s tallest hills. For those looking to come home with photos to make all their friends jealous, this is one of the best opportunities to be had, as there are virtually unrivalled views of the surrounding ocean, islands, bays and hills.
From Padar Island, continue to Komodo Island for the final 2 - 3 hours easy to moderate trek, arriving at the pier of Loh Liang. Komodo Island is the largest and most famous of all islands in Komodo National Park and covers 390 square-kilometres. It also has the largest community of Komodo dragons and many other animals such as wild horses, buffaloes and pigs. Set off for a 1½ hour trek per way under the guidance of a local park ranger who will explain all about the dragons and life on the islands. Pass by waterholes where animals drink and dragons watch their prey while enjoying endless views over the park.
Continue cruising towards the island of Pink beach for snorkeling (about 15 min cruising). After an hour snorkeling time for Lunch. Lunch box provided. Continue cruising to manta point for another snorkeling activities (about 30 min cruising). If you lucky you can see mantas here. After returning to the boat, cruise further towards the island of Kanawa for snorkeling. Enjoy your time on the beautiful white sandy beach or in the water observing the colorful underwater world -there is a dazzling array of tropical fish and coral species here.
In the late afternoon cruise back to Labuan Bajo.
Return back to your resort and enjoy 3 course dinner.

After breakfast you will pick up by your guide then drive to for the impressive Cunca Rami waterfall. Known with its many pretty pools that offer a refreshing, natural swimming experience, makes a fantastic day trip from Labuan Bajo.
Starting from Werang, which is located 35 km southeast of Labuan Bajo, it takes you about a 3 hours easy to moderate scenic walk through an area which seems to be relatively untouched by modern civilisation. Hiking through small villages and agricultural land, this walk is also a lesson in culture and agriculture. The trail leads you across various villages before it stretches out into open farmlands with water buffaloes, pigs, and goats grazing freely in the fields.
Lunch box will be provided.
Then drive to a local village for the Whip Dance (Tari Caci) which is famous for the Manggarai people of West Flores.
Enjoy the morning at leisure.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Labuan Bajo Airport for your next flight onward.

Helicopter evacuations are expensive and in most cases will be at a cost to the customer.For Australian residents, under the Australian Government Medicare Act, it is prohibited for any domestic travel insurance product to provide any financial reimbursement with regard to ambulance or air ambulance services. We therefore strongly advise our customers to take specific ambulance cover through their health insurance provider. Evacuation cost will not be covered by the Onlyluxe Travel and therefore it is also strongly recommended that our customers take out travel insurance to cover (amongst other things) the costs associated with evacuation.Travel InsuranceIn view of the heavy cancellation penalties applied to cancelled reservations in certain circumstances, we strongly recommends suitable travel insurance be purchased at the time the holding deposit is paid.
