Meet with your tour leaders today at 9.00 a.m. at the Westbury Dublin, located on Balfe Street in Dublin, Ireland. Please arrive dressed in your biking clothes. Bring your luggage and a daypack with your rain gear, and anything else you may want for today's ride (your luggage will be transported to our first night's accommodations).
Welcome to the stunning Connemara, a region in Ireland graced with a landscape of rugged cliffs, labyrinthine inlets, billowing grasslands, and craggy mountains. A region with enchanting history and vibrant culture, and where we’d be exploring for the week.
Following our meeting in Galway, we shuttle to Ballynahinch Castle, one of Ireland’s finest resorts, and our home for the next two nights. A luxury hotel set within 700 acres of woodland surrounded by the wild natural beauty of Connemara, with the Twelve Bens Mountain as its backdrop.
After lunch, our tour guides fit your bike and give a short oration on various biking techniques and safety measures there is, thereafter we head out on a cycling adventure through sparsely populated land lined with small lakes and villages. The Irish traditions thrive in this remote region and are home to a major part of the country’s Gaelic speakers.
Back at the hotel this evening we enjoy a welcome reception before sitting down to a delicious meal in the dining room.

Get ready for an eventful day as we explore a section of the famous Wild Atlantic Way, a winding route along Ireland’s windswept western coast. Done with a pleasant breakfast this morning at the hotel, cycle meandering country roads, with jaw-dropping views of the Sapphire Ocean, windblown grasses, and golden beaches surrounding you as we head to the base of Errisbeg Mountain en route to the charming hamlet of Roundstone.
Take a break from exploring and enjoy lunch at a pub near the beach, afterwards dip your toes in the Atlantic. Head back to Ballynahinch Castle while relishing the bucolic scenery on the way. Come across the egg-shaped memorial to aviators Alcock and Brown, commemorating the first nonstop transatlantic flight from Newfoundland. The location also boasts of a stunning view of Connemara and the flight's landing spot. Back at the hotel, spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your room, take a calm walk through the hotel's beautiful garden, or sit by one of the estate’s open-log fires with a book.
We will be heading out this evening to the fishermen’s pub next door to relax with a pint while appreciating the lively Irish ambiance, there upon enjoy dinner at your own time at the hotel.

Following a hearty breakfast this morning, we set out for a spin beneath the jagged Twelve Bens Mountains. Wander the quintessentially Irish village of Clifden, stumble upon quirky shops, perhaps in search of jewellery made with renowned green Connemara marble. Proceed along the scenic Sky Road to the Aughrus Peninsula, a rock-strewn seaside landscape teeming with stone fences and lovely farmhouses. Treat your taste buds to some Irish dishes as we sit down for lunch at a family-run pub in quaint Claddaghduff.
Continue on your bike across Omey Strand to its sandy tidal island, then turn inland toward Letterfrack, the gateway to Connemara National Park. Arrive at Rosleague Manor, our destination and home for the next two days. Resting on the quiet shores of Ballinakill Bay and beautifully secluded within 30 acres of its private woodland, and provides luxurious accommodation just outside the Connemara National Park. Relish the sensational scenery and relaxed atmosphere provided by this magnificent hotel.
Later this evening, we tour a local oyster farm where we learn about the three-year process from seed to harvest, afterward, we're treated to a simple, fresh, and delicious oyster tasting right at the source. Sit down tonight for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with lots of excellent food to choose from.

After filling our bellies with breakfast this morning, we travel to Westport, a Georgian town with ties to Ireland’s infamous female pirate, Grace O’Malley. Arriving at Westport, set out on a ride along County Mayo’s deep backcountry roads, come across cows grazing on the abundant green grass and rugged mountains standing tall.
Take a break to enjoy lunch at the Delphi Resort, an outdoor activity centre set against a backdrop of hills and a verdant tuft of a forest. Continue on your bike past Killary Harbour, a picturesque fjord where otters, seals, and dolphins play.
Done with today’s adventure, head back to the manor for some relaxation; rest back in your room, or take a walk through its enchanted garden. Gather back tonight amid the old-world charm of a local Irish pub where we delight in some of the area’s best whiskey before retiring for the night.

Begin the day biking through a kaleidoscope of landscapes, from craggy shores, and soaring mountains, to the deep fjord and shimmering lakes. Come across the Renvyle Castle ruins with spectacular sea views as you pedal inland for a climb beside Lough Fee. Go on pedalling along Killary Harbour to waterfront Leenaun, where a sumptuous lunch awaits you.
After lunch, board the shuttle or ride into Joyce Country, a region rich in Gaelic speakers and rolling farmland west of Loch Maesc. Carry on to the former home of the Guinness family, the remarkable 800-year-old Ashford Castle. Located on the 350-acre Ashford Castle estate overlooking magical Lough Corrib is The Lodge at Ashford Castle. Rejuvenate at the hotel’s spa, and breathe the Ireland pure air as you revel in the out-of-this-world scenery from your beautifully designed and furnished room.
Celebrating our last night together, we wine and dine to an unforgettable and imaginative dinner prepared by one of the best chefs in the country.

Electric Assist Bike
A lightweight yet powerful machine unique in the world of e-bikes. Other outstanding features include the same comfort as our Touring Bikes and lower top tubes for easier mounting and dismounting. Tandem Bike
Hand-built frame features Co-Motion's custom-designed cro-moly steel tubeset, powerful Avid disc brakes, Shimano Ultegra drive train, and a custom, upgraded wheelset. Suggested for riders with some tandem experience and on trips with flatter terrain. Due to the tandem's size, frequent racking is not realistic, so there may be fewer opportunities to hop in the van.
