Tosca’s Room is generously spacious with an intimate feel and a private grassed area. Accessed by an internal staircase from the library, Skyfall, the master suite, is impressive and invigorating with a private verandah and 180-degree views of the bay. Last but not least, the wonderful and idiosyncratic DB5 has sloping ceilings and nods to the 1970s era. What it lacks in size compared to the other rooms it makes up for in personality: 60’s wallpaper, an Art Deco sideboard repurposed as a vanity and a rainfall shower that overlooks the sea.
Donkey Bay Inn does not have an onsite restaurant, but the historic township of Russell is just a short stroll away and offers a wide range of dining options. The hotel offers a unique complimentary transfer to and from local restaurants in a private chauffeur driven vintage Daimier Jaguar.
