Swim with the ocean’s gentle giants – whale sharks and humpback whales – at the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, with this action-packed, 4-day package based out of the famous Sal Salis beach safari camp.
Situated halfway up the West Australian coastline, Ningaloo Reef is the world’s largest fringing reef, a 260-kilometre (162-mile) long coral reef teeming with manta rays, turtles, dolphins, dugongs and more than 500 species of fish. Nowhere else on Earth can you see such a diverse array of marine life in such large numbers – and with such regularity. Ningaloo Reef is truly a bucket-list destination!
With transfers included from Learmonth Airport (LEA), you’ll spend 3-nights at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef. Hidden in the white sand dunes of Cape Range National Park, Sal Salis offers just 15 eco-luxe wilderness tents, each overlooking the reef and sparkling Indian Ocean. Wake up to the song of a butcher bird or the raucous squawks of a galah and fill your days however you choose: relax in your tent’s hammock, laze on the beach, take part in the camp’s daily guided activities. The Queen Charlotte Track takes in the magnificent sights between Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound in the Marlborough Sounds. It extends from Ship Cove in the north to Anakiwa in the south. This manageable itinerary incorporates gorgeous coastal views across native bush, walking between 4 and 8 hours a day. You are then well equipped to continue on your way for the remainder of your self-guided walk for the rest of three days. Additional cost: $250 per person.

Bruny Island, located just 40km from Hobart off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, is the state's fourth largest island. The island is separated from the Tasmanian mainland by the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, and its east coast lies within the Tasman Sea. Known for the incredible quality of its produce and fresh seafood, Bruny Island is also renowned for some of Tasmania's most beautifully preserved natural environments with abundant wildlife and stunning cliff top views. The island is about 50 km long but appears to be two islands with North and South Bruny joined by a narrow strip of land called Bruny Island Neck. Bruny Island Neck is an isthmus of land connecting north and south Bruny Island in southern Tasmania and offers stunning 360 degree views and is an important habitat for native wildlife.
Accommodation each night is included at a secluded luxury camp, on a private 100 acres on the edge of the South Bruny National Park, this little haven represents the perfect place to retreat.
