You'll then have 5 days of day hikes on selected iconic trails, including Wangditse Leisure Forest Trail walk, Lungchutse Hike, and Chele La Trek. The finale is hiking up to the famous Tiger's Nest, the most sacred monastery in Bhutan that is perched high on a cliff above Paro Valley. Your tour departs from Queenstown. You will be picked up from your Queenstown accommodation and commence four day hikes based in Te Anau. You hike to Lake Marian amongst forest and alpine scenery. You hike the famous Kepler Track admiring stunning lake vistas. The track winds past the alpine grassland of the Jackson Peaks, mountains, native forest, glacier-carved valleys and waterfalls. Plenty of native birds can be spotted as you wind through mossy beech forests. You will also hike the Milford Track, described as "the Finest Walk in the World" - a must when visiting the region. Walk through ancient temperate rainforest surrounded by an array of ferns, mosses and lichens in vibrant shades of green leads to Giant Gate Waterfall. The Routeburn Track offers spectacular alpine views and flowers. On Day 4, you will board your Milford Sound Overnight Cruise and enjoy the ultimate Milford Sound experience.
