After meeting in Anchorage, we start with a 5-minute walk to Elderberry Park, where your tour leaders will fit your bike and give a brief talk about biking techniques and safety.
Our adventure begins with a ride along one of the most beautiful trails in the nation, Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, flush with the infamous devil’s club and tall Sitka Spruce. As you ride along the trail, enjoy breathtaking views of Cook Inlet and the narrow Alaska Range.
Be on the lookout for large moose as you ride through luxuriant forest past the Earthquake Park, named after the 1964 Great Alaskan earthquake that levelled most of Anchorage. Afterward, head inland for the big hike of the day en route to Kincaid Park, a Mecca for outdoor fanatics and our lunch spot for the day.
After a delicious lunch, we shuttle along the impressive Turnagain Arm, a site of one of the world’s few bore tides with powerful tidal waves that only few dare to surf.
After a delicious breakfast, we will take a smooth shuttle through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, a 4km (2.5 mi) long passageway; the longest of its kind in North America, to the small Whittier Village (population of about 300 people).
Here, we board a vessel to cruise through the amazing Prince William Sound, whose nutrient rich waters attract a lot of beautiful creatures including humpback whales, sea otters, seals, and bald eagles. Sail past looming glaciers and listen for the echoing crackle and boom of impending glaciers calving. Our boat captain will share useful information about the area’s marine life along the way. We may also stop for a short beach walk and search for shorebirds and small shells if the conditions allow.
Afterward, we shuttle south on the Kenai Peninsula to our home for the next two nights, the Seward Windsong Lodge. A picturesque lodge located in the heart of the Exit Glacier Valley, designed to showcase Alaska’s wild beauty and its finest cuisines.
Rest and enjoy the tranquility of its surroundings before gathering in the evening for a lovely dinner at the beautiful Ray’s restaurant in downtown Seward. Savour fresh local seafood delights while savouring spectacular mountain views as you dine.

At Kenai Fjords National Park, you’ll take an amazing hike alongside the famous Harding Icefield which covers more than 2000 square kilometres (900 sq m)and conceals an entire mountain under several thousand metres of ice. This ascent may be the toughest you’ve ever attempted but it’s very much worth it as it proves to be an incredibly rewarding experience. The trail follows the edge of Exit Glacier through a lush forest that’s home to unique creatures such as black bears, mountain goats, and marmots. Enjoy the sweeping view of this white land when you reach the tree line with no view obstruction. If you’re up for the challenge and choose to hike the entire distance or if you’re hiking in the early summer, you’ll hike through a lot of snow (please ensure you have warm layers of clothing on you).
TWO BIKING OPTIONS: Level 1, Approx. 27km (17 miles), Elevation gain: 152m (500 ft) Level 2, Approx. 39km (24 miles), Elevation gain: 396m (1300 ft)

We follow the Kenai River, which is full of salmon and fishermen, then head south and journey along the western edge of the Kenai Peninsula. After lunch at an artist’s studio, we hop on our bikes for a ride along the high ridges above Homer and enjoy views of Kachemak Bay, Homer Spit, and Kenai Mountains.
Our ride ends at Land’s End Resort, our home for the next two nights. A beautiful hotel nestled at the end of Homer’s spit with breathtaking views of the ocean and the mountains. Enjoy a relaxing swim at the indoor swimming pool, or warm away the cold at the high-end sauna at the lodge.
Tonight, you will have the chance to enjoy dinner on your own at any restaurant of your choice, or one recommended to you.
This morning, we will travel across Kachemak Bay on a water taxi to Yukon Island, a haven for otters, seals, and an array of nesting birds. We plan to spend the entire kayaking around the Island, paddling among impressive mountains, spectacular rock formations, and luxuriant vegetation. Enjoy the view as you cruise past temperate rainforest, protected coves, and pebbled beaches, and be on the lookout for its native creatures. You may also see Mount St. Augustine blowing off some steam on the opposite side of Cook Inlet. In the afternoon, we stop for lunch on a secluded beach. You can continue to explore the waters before we return to Homer.
This afternoon, you can choose to spend your time at the hotel and enjoy its many amenities. You can de-dress in the hotel’s hot tub or book a restorative spa session. You can also check out Homer’s shops and marina before gathering in the evening for a farewell dinner at the exotic Chart Room Restaurant with breathtaking views of the bay.
After breakfast, we will shuttle to the historic Dean Family Farm, where we take a walking tour among artistically sculpted buildings, garden sculptures, herb gardens and enjoy panoramic views of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains as our hosts share the tale of the creation of their unique farm, their artwork, and life in Homer.
In the afternoon, we’ll gather together to enjoy one last savoury meal at lunch and shuttle back to Anchorage for your onward journey home.
