The lodge does not have an onsite restaurant however a continental breakfast and in-house dining can be arranged on request as well as picnic hampers and afternoon teas. The lodge is just a few minutes’ walk to local restaurants including Blue Ginger (Thai), Poivre & Sel (French) and Go Vino (European).
Perched beside the three kilometre stretch of white-sand at Cooks Beach the lodge is ideally located to enjoy swimming, walking and sunbathing while still a short distance from the seaside town of Whitianga.
Activities and attractions nearby are plentiful. You may choose to go skydiving in Whitianga, a boat tour or a guided sea kayaking tour around the coast. Walk the famous Coromandel coastal walkway or ride the Driving Creek Railway through mountain forest and pottery sculptures. Visit the Historical Museum and Coromandel School of Mines and uncover the town's gold mining history.
