Overtime the wind removed the surrounding sand leaving the pillars exposed to the elements.
In the afternoon, discover one of the best wildflower spotting in Western Australia on a walk-through Mt Lesueur National Park. Some of the walk includes harder terrain including rocky surfaces and ascents which are doable by the everyday walker and well worth the effort.
After you walk, you will head to Jurien Bay where you will spend the night at the comfortable Jurien Bay Motel Apartments, just moments from the beach and town centre. You can expect spacious, self-contained apartments and get comfortable in the separate living area.

Western Australia has many types of climate. In the north, around Karratha and Broome, the climate is tropical with a wet and dry season (April to November), while in the south-west, around Perth, the climate is temperate with winter rainfall (June-August). Away from the coast, the rain decreases and the differences between day and night temperatures increase.
The tour ends just after lunch in Monkey Mia, with wet feet and a drop off in Denham.
