Nights can be cooler, especially at higher altitudes. Winters (December to February) are cold and snowy, with temperatures often dropping below freezing, creating a haven for skiing and snow sports. Weather in the Dolomites can change rapidly, so it's essential to be prepared for varying conditions, especially in the mountains.
