Welcome to Italy! One of our team members will be there to greet you at the airport or the designated meeting point. From there, we’ll head to Hotel Al Sorriso in Levico Terme, a charming town known for its thermal springs and beautiful alpine scenery. Once at the hotel, we’ll assist you with your luggage and check-in to ensure you’re settled and ready to start your trip.
In the afternoon, we’ll get your bikes set up and take a short warm-up ride. This easy ride is a great opportunity to stretch your legs and test the bikes to make sure everything is comfortable. The route takes us along the shores of Lake Caldonazzo and Lake Levico, two stunning alpine lakes surrounded by lush greenery and small villages. You’ll get to take in the calm waters and enjoy a preview of the landscapes you’ll explore further in the coming days.
You’ll stay at Hotel Al Sorriso, nestled in the heart of Levico Terme. After a sumptuous breakfast, our day of cycling begins. Following a brief safety overview, we will embark on our journey along the Valsugana cycling path. This scenic route follows the gentle course of the Brenta River, offering tranquil views as it meanders through the valley.
Our destination is the historic town of Bassano del Grappa. Nestled at the foot of the Venetian Prealps, this town is not only famed for its picturesque Ponte Vecchio bridge, but also for its significant role in World War I. Bassano del Grappa is also the heart of Italy's grappa production, a tradition steeped in centuries of craftsmanship. Here, we will immerse ourselves in this local heritage with a guided tour and tasting, exploring the complex aromas and potent flavours of this iconic Italian spirit.
After our visit, a comfortable transfer will bring us back to the hotel, where a well-deserved aperitivo will be waiting. You are then free to spend the evening as you wish. Perhaps you'll wander through the charming historic centre of Levico Terme, enjoy the tranquil lakeside ambiance, or select one of the local restaurants for a delightful dinner at your leisure.

Riding in Trentino: The general road conditions in the area are good. This tour features riding on public roads and cycle paths; the roads are shared with cars, motorbikes and bikes.
Cuisine: The food in the Trentino region is excellent and full of local flavour. Traditional dishes such as polenta, canederli (bread dumplings), speck, and mountain cheeses are must-tries.
