Classic:Option 1: Embark on a guided adventure to the iconic Tahrir Square where you’ll tap into its rich history at the Egyptian Museum (Note: upon its opening, the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza will replace Cairo’s Egyptian Museum for this itinerary). Unveil the mysteries of King Tutankhamun’s treasures and other thrilling artifacts of ancient Egypt.
Option 2: Drive to the walled city of Old Cairo as you meander its historical streets with visits to the beautiful Saladin’s 12th century citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali.
Option 3: Journey to ‘Coptic Cairo’ to discover the Hanging Church, also called Church of the Virgin Mary, where the Virgin Mary and Jesus were said to find refuge during their flight to Egypt. Stroll the Old Town to explore Cairo’s oldest Jewish synagogue, founded in the 9th century and delve into is rich history.

Along the way, uncover the ancient water measurement system, the Nilometer, on the Nile’s Elephantine Island. Visit the lush Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island and breathtaking Aga Khan Mausoleum.

Today, you have a chance to explore the hidden gems of Aswan. Wake up early and have breakfast as it’s the last day on your ship. After getting ready, bid farewell to your ship crew members and join your Adventure Host for today’s activities.
Classic: Option 1: Venture on a Guided Sightseeing Excursion at to explore the Granite Quarries that supplied ancient Egypt with its hard stones for the pyramids in Giza. See the famous unfinished obelisk, still remaining in the quarry.
Option 2: Discover the enormous Aswan High Dam, the world's largest embankment dam which was constructed between 1960 to 1970. From here, venture on a motor launch to explore the Agilika between two dams. Next, visit the exceptional Temple Of Isis, which was dismantles from the submerged island of Philae and reassembled here.
Later, fly back to Cairo.
Optional Tour (additional cost): Tantalise your tastebuds this evening with a 2 hour dinner cruise featuring a delicious buffet, live music and belly dancing entertainment as you cruise along the Nile.

In some cases, this can occur after the walk has commenced. The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any walk up to 60 days prior to departure if a minimum of 4 walkers are unable to meet for a tour.
