Set off on an awe-inspiring journey, starting from Shin-Osaka or Kyoto, bound for Kii-Tanabe, the gateway to Kumano Kodo. The trek begins at Kii-Tanabe station with an orientation from local staff, followed by a bus ride to Kawayu Onsen, where you can immerse yourself in the hot spring and relax. Savour a Japanese tantalising cuisine and rest for the night at the Kawayu Onsen Fujiya. Proceed the next day to Hosshinmon-oji to begin the walk on the Kumano Kodo trail with a local private guide. Enjoy a private guided tour of the Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine and all of its marvels before boarding a bus to Katsuura Onsen on the coast. Afterward, be ferried to Kumano-Bettei Nakanoshima seaside resort on a private island to enjoy a Kaiseki set menu for dinner and spend the night. Take a ferry back to Katsuura and proceed to Daimon-zaka by bus. With a private local guide, explore the Nachi shrine-temple complex, and walk on the Daimon-zaka slope to behold the stunning Nachi Falls, which is the tallest in Japan. Departing from Queenstown, head to Milford Sound, where your overnight cruise awaits. When all the tourists have left at dusk, the fiord transforms into a peaceful scene of dramatic landscape. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere and get a sense of the serenity that the fiord offers. You'll have many opportunities for wildlife spotting such as penguins, seals and dolphins as well as learning about the history and natural environment of the fiord. After disembarking the next morning, your private guide will meet you at the cruise terminal and company you hiking the Milford Track, described as "the Finest Walk in the World" - a must when visiting the region. Walk through ancient temperate rainforest surrounded by an array of ferns, mosses and lichens in vibrant shades of green leads to Giant Gate Waterfall. Then private transfer back to Queenstown.

You'll then have 5 days of day hikes on selected iconic trails, including Wangditse Leisure Forest Trail walk, Lungchutse Hike, and Chele La Trek. The finale is hiking up to the famous Tiger's Nest, the most sacred monastery in Bhutan that is perched high on a cliff above Paro Valley. Retreat each night to a luxury COMO Uma room with views of a snake-like bend in the Mo Chu river in Punakha and blue pine forest in Paro.
All meals are included for the duration of the tour. All ground transfers as well as transfers to and from Paro airport are also included.
