In Katherine, explore the spectacular sandstone country of Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge on a guided cruise, or get a taste of life on an authentic cattle station. In Alice Springs, discover the Red Centre your way with a tour of the town, a guided walk to Simpsons Gap or a visit to The Alice Springs Desert Park, where you can get up close to native wildlife. You may choose to elevate your experience with a scenic helicopter to Uluru, the beating heart of Australia. You’ll arrive into Adelaide having completed one of the world’s great travel experiences.
You’ll stay in a private cabin onboard The Ghan, either a Gold Single or Gold Twin. The Gold Single features a bed that converts to a seat by day with shared shower/toilet facilities located at the end of the carriage, while the Gold Twin features a upper and lower berths that convert to a three seater lounge by day with a private ensuite. Your cabin is the perfect place to relax and recharge before heading for the lounge or dining carriage. Amenities include power outlets and in-cabin music channels and journey audio commentary.
